MARTIN Dmitry Émil'evich (Fyodorovich)
painter and graphic artist.
Biographical information on the wizard are scarce. Born in the family of a merchant. In 1885-1889 he studied at MUZHVZ as volnoslushayuschego. Lived in Moscow.
worked mainly as a landscape painter, while continuing his work in the tradition of Russian landscape school of the second half of XIX century. Repeated visits to the north and central Russia. Participated in exhibitions of the Moscow Society of Lovers of Fine Arts (1891-1910, member of MOLH from 1893), the Moscow Association of Artists (1899-1900), TPHV (1900-1917, with interruptions), Spring exhibition in the halls of IAH (1902-1917, with interruptions) , the Moscow Society of Artists "Link" and others.
taught in Vologda art school.
works are in several museum collections, including the State Tretyakov Gallery.
