Watercolorist, draftsman

Studied 2-й school of technical drawing (Stroganov school) in Moscow. In 1858 получил from the IAH title neklassnogo (free) artist landscape painting.

he Lived in Moscow. Worked primarily as a landscape painter in watercolor.

Participated in exhibitions in the halls of the Imperial Academy of arts (1872, 1879, 1880, 1896), Society of exhibitions of works of art (1879-1880), the Society of Russian watercolorists (1880, 1883).

he Taught at the Practical Academy of commercial Sciences (1870-1890), Moscow commercial College (1888-1900) and other educational institutions of Moscow. Participated in the activities of the society of teachers of graphic arts (1900-е).

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — of the State Tretyakov gallery.
