From a peasant family. He studied at the Saratov art school (1914-1917, 1921-1923) А. О. Никулина, П. С. Уткина, А. И. Савинова. During the Civil war he was in red Army; sang slogans, scenery for plays mobile red army theatre.

Lived in Kokand (1924) and Tashkent (from 1935). Author thematic paintings, landscapes, portraits, still lifes: "may day demonstration" (1926), "Storm cloud" (1926), "Reaper" (1927), "Training" (1932), "Doomed (the Zindon)" (1938), "Kuibyshev in cotton harvest in Uzbekistan" (1940), "Evening" (1942), "the partisan RAID on the headquarters of the Nazi" (1943), "Komsomolskaya gift" (1945), "In the fascist torture chamber" (1948), "Chirchik mountain" (1953), "Morning over Moscow" (1955), "a Visit to the sponsored farm" (1956), "Cheese-Дарья" (1960), "Without interruption of production" (1960), "Spring" (1962), "Attack repulsed" (1964). In 1942 he was sent by the Union of artists of Uzbekistan Boysun for the construction of Railways (together with В. И. Уфимцевым); executed paintings of "Boysun", "Girl mountain of Uzbekistan", "the Girl from Boysun".

during the great Patriotic war, he served posters for "Window Usbjtag". Participated in the design of the Uzbek SSR pavilion at VSHV (1951-1954), theatre. А. Навои in Tashkent (1956-1958).

From 1924 — participant of exhibitions (exhibition of paintings in Saratov). Exhibitor of the society "4 искусства" (1926-1928). Participated vystavkah: paintings, drawings and sculpture (1925, 1927), paintings by local artists (1929), the exhibition to mark the 50-летия the Saratov art school (1947) in Saratov; 4-й reporting the Republican exhibition (1936), exhibition of paintings by artists of Uzbekistan on the twentieth anniversary of the great October socialist revolution (1937), Republican art exhibitions (1940, 1943, 1945, 1951, 1954) in Tashkent; the exhibition of works of artists of Uzbekistan (1937), all-Union art exhibition (1957) in Moscow. Had a solo exhibition in Tashkent (1958).
