he Studied at the Palekh school of icon painting (1913-1917). Lived in Palekh. 1929 — a member of the Palekh artel of ancient painting, he studied under the guidance А. В. Котухина. Performed painting on papier-маше (boxes, cartons, sigaretnitsy, layers) in a modern, revolutionary, literary, and folk tunes: "the Soldier in the village" (1929), "the Red army men on patrol" (1931), "firewood" (1933), "On the swing" (1935), "mowers read the newspaper" (1935), "Chelyuskin (Team Chelyuskintsev at work)" (1936), "the Village" (1936), "Caucasus" (1936), "Journey to Arzrum" (1937), "the Rest of the workers in the Crimea" (1937), "the partisans of the fire" (1938), "prisoner of the Caucasus" (1946), "In the forest frontline" (1947), "the Caucasus under me" (1949).

From 1932 — participant of exhibitions ("Art of Palekh" in Moscow). Exhibited: "the Russian artistic lacquers" (1933), "XV years of the red army" (1933), folk art (1937), "XX years of the red army and the Military-Морского Navy" (1938), "the Art of Palekh" (1939), all-Union art exhibition (1947), "Pushkin in the works of folk artists of the RSFSR" (1949), the Republican exhibition of works of folk crafts and industrial art of the RSFSR (1952) in Moscow; 2-й (1935 — "Ivanovo industrial oblast in art"), 3-й (1937), 9-й (1947) regional art exhibitions, "the Soviet theme in the art of Palekh" (1960) in Ivanovo; "Art of the Soviet Palekh" (1957, mobile). Participant of the exhibition "Art of Palekh" in London (1933).
