Biography
VAKUROV Ivan
Painter-миниатюрист
From a family of painters. Studied and worked in icon painting workshop Н. М. Сафонова (Safonova) in Palekh. A member of the Palekh Artel of ancient painting (since 1926).
Performed painting on papier-маше (boxes, cartons, compacts) on literature, folklore and life scenes. Since 1923 — participated in exhibitions.
Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — of the all-Russian Museum of decorative-прикладного and folk art, State Museum of Palekh art in Palekh.
