From the family of hereditary painters; younger brother of the artist Vasily Bureev. Studied at the Palekh icon-painting workshop (1912-1917) И. М. Баканова. Painted icons. Member of the Civil war. After demobilization he worked in logging. In 1928 was accepted as a student in the Palekh artel of ancient painting, where he studied under the guidance И. И. Голикова; 1930 — a member of the Cooperative.

Svergina Lived in the village of Ivanovo region. Served as the paintings on papier-маше (compacts, boxes, boxes, plates) on folklore and literary subjects, the Soviet theme. was Engaged in monumental painting; participated in the decoration of the pavilion of the Central regions of the RSFSR on VSHV (1939). He created sketches of costumes and scenery for the Opera "the Golden Cockerel" to the Saratov Opera and ballet theatre (1947). Performed painting porcelain.

From 1932 — participant of exhibitions ("Art of Palekh" in Moscow). Participated in exhibitions: "XV years of the red army" (1933), folk art (1937), "XX years of the red army and the Military-морского Navy" (1938), all-Union art exhibitions (1939 — "industry of socialism", 1947, 1957), the "Great Patriotic war" (1943), Republican exhibitions ("Artists of the RSFSR", 1949, 1952, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1957), "Pushkin in the works of national applied art and art industry of the RSFSR" (1952), "30 лет art of the Soviet Palekh" (1955), "In unison" (1964), a "40 лет art of the Soviet Palekh" (1965) in Moscow; regional art exhibitions in Ivanovo region Ivanovo (1937, 1940, 1945-1946, 1947); the exhibition "Art of Palekh" in London (1933) and others. A member of the Union of artists of the USSR (from 1941). Honored artist of the RSFSR.
