he Studied at the Kyiv drawing school Н. И. Мурашко then — in the Imperial Academy of arts — Higher school of painting, sculpture and architecture under the Imperial Academy of arts (1892-1902) as a volunteer in the engraving class И. М. Творожковского, В. В. Матэ. In 1894 был awarded a small incentive medal. In 1902 "for the etchings and drawings" received the title of artist.

Lived in St. Petersburg (up to 1913), from 1913 — in the village of Bogorodskoe of Moscow province. Worked in the technique of etching, monotypes, lithographs, watercolors; executed landscapes, genre compositions and portraits. Engaged book graphics, ex libris, applied graphics (invitations). Participated in illustrating the edition of "Dead souls" Н. В. Гоголя (Moscow, 1901). Collaborated in the magazines "the Jester" (1897, 1903), the Lantern (1906), "the Printing art". The author medium of etchings: "Bukhara" (1899, 2-я premium molh), "a Study of the Samarkand mosques", "Evening prayer" (1901), "Samarkand", "Street in Paris" (1902), "Paris" (1917), "Portrait of women soldiers" (1930-е); lithography "jellyfish" (1902).

In 1911-1913 работал to Trinity and Foundry theatre in St. Petersburg.

From 1895 — participated in exhibitions. He exposed his works at exhibitions the Society of Russian watercolorists (1895, 1901), Moscow society of art lovers (1899), New society of artists (1905), Union of youth (1910), the Leningrad society exlibrises (1925 — "Russian book mark in the engraving of" in Leningrad). A member and Exhibitor of St. Sergius branch AHRR (1925). Work exhibited: Petrograd original book of signs (1923), "Russian lithography for 25 лет" (1923) in Petrograd; "Russian book mark" in Kazan (1923); exhibition of painting, graphics, sculpture and applied arts by artists of the Moscow region in Moscow (1940, 1941).

One of the organizers and lecturer of the Bogorodskoye carving school wood (1915-1937); taught on the art faculty of Moscow textile Institute (1935-1941).

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — of the State Russian Museum, the Pushkin Museum im. А. С. Пушкина.
