he Studied in art classes artistic society in Rostov-на-Дону (1903-1906), MUZHVZ (1906-1913) А. Е. Архипова, С. В. Иванова, Н. А. Касаткина; graduated with the title artist 2-й degree.

he Lived in Moscow. Worked primarily as a landscape painter. Author paintings: "Morning", "the Peasant yard", "Evening", "shed", "Moorman", "Boats at night", "Spring" (all — 1910-е), "In the hayloft", "the Last snow", "Donbass in winter" (all — 1920-е), "Airport at dawn" (1937), "Prisoners" (1942), "March" (1950), "Spring evening" (1953), "Kama", "Snowing" (1954), "First warm day" (1955) and others. In 1937 создал a series of works devoted to А. С. Пушкину, — "Pushkin at the Creek-Горе", "Pushkin in Boldino".

From 1909 — participant of exhibitions (student's, MUZHVZ). A member and Exhibitor of the society "Free art" (1912-1918). Participated in exhibitions of the Moscow Association of artists (1912, 1913, 1916), society "Moscow salon" (1913), society of artists of the Moscow school (1923), AHRR (1926); group exhibitions: 1-й state exhibition of art and science in Kazan (1920); the spring exhibitions of Moscow painters (artists) (1935, 1952), the works of Moscow artists in favor of the Fund of social assistance to children and women of heroic Spain (1936), "In Pushkin places" (1937), "XX years of the red army and the Military-Морского Navy" (1938), all-Union art exhibitions (1939 — "industry of socialism", 1946, 1950, 1951), "the Landscape of our country" (1942), "the Great Patriotic war" (1943), "30 лет of the Soviet Armed forces" (1948), "Moscow and the Moscow region" (1955), a "40 лет of the Soviet Armed forces" (1958) in Moscow and others. Member of mosskh (MSH). Held a personal exhibition in Moscow (1958).

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — of the State literary Museum, Central Armed forces Museum in Moscow, State Pushkin Museum of fine arts of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazan.
