he Studied at the Drawing school Н. И. Мурашко in Kiev (1887-1892), the Higher art school of painting, sculpture and architecture under the Imperial Academy of arts in St. Petersburg (1893-1897; did not graduate) К. В. Лебедева, И. И. Творожникова, А. И. Куинджи. In 1897-1898 he lived in Munich, where he continued his education at the School Ш. Холлоши. From there he made a trip to Italy.

he Lived in Warsaw (1900-1914, 1918), Polesie and Volhynia (1914-1915), Kiev (1916-1918). Traveled to Poland, Ukraine and European cities; visited Italy (1907), Paris, London (1912).

he Worked primarily as a landscape painter and portraitist. Has done cartoons and illustrations for literary-художественного magazine "Chimera" ("Chimera"). Created a series of stained glass Windows.

a Member and Exhibitor of St. Petersburg "New society of artists", Kiev Association of artists (1918). Participated in exhibitions of the Warsaw Society for the encouragement of arts (1899-1921, with interruptions), the society for the encouragement of arts (1901, 1920), Salon of contemporary Polish artists (1920), the Polish art Club (1921) and others. Exhibitor many international art exhibitions — in London, St-Петербурге (1908), Rome (1911), Munich (1912, 1913), Amsterdam (1912), Venice (1914, 1920), Paris (1921). His personal exhibitions were held in Kyiv and Warsaw (both — 1918).

he Taught in his own school of painting, founded jointly with К. Стабровским (1900-1904; since 1918), the Warsaw school of fine arts (1904-1909), the school of fine arts in Kyiv (1917-1918), private art schools.

Work is represented in many Museum collections, including the National museums in Warsaw, Krakow and others.
