Painter

From a merchant family. Brother of the artists Alexandra and Nicholas Bryzgalov. Studied in muzhv (1858 and 1860-1867) С. К. Зарянко. In 1864, for the painting "Girl sewing" received from the Academy silver medal. In 1867, for the painting "Chitalschik", performed together with В. Г. Перовым awarded gold medal "for the expression" and awarded the title of class artist of 3-й degree.

he Lived in Moscow. Worked as a genre painter, he painted landscapes and portraits. Author paintings: "Volga near Tver", "On the edge", "Portrait of a merchant" and others. In 1874 he published an article: "Grigori Vereshchagin" ("Modern news", 1874, 28 октября, No. 276). A member and Exhibitor of Moscow society of art lovers (since 1868; at the exhibition 1886/1887). Showed his works at academic exhibitions (1860-е, with breaks).

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — of the State Tretyakov gallery, State Museum of arts of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.
