Painter, graphic artist, sculptor

the Daughter of a famous ceramist-технолога П. К. Ваулина; the mother of the composer А. П. Петрова. Studied in Leningrad in VKhUTEMAS — Vhuteine (1921-1926) А. Е. Карева, М. В. Матюшина; the Leningrad Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture (1934-1937) in the Studio А. А. Осмеркина.

Lived in Petrograd (Leningrad), 1927-1934 — Uzbekistan. Participated in the implementation of the plan of monumental propaganda. Completed plaques with the portraits Р. Люксембург and Л. И. Вайнера cast on Kasli ironworks to Ekaterinburg and other Ural cities (1920).

a Member of the group "Zorved". In the composition of the team participated in festive decoration of Leningrad by 1 Мая (1931), the preparation work: "Regularity of changeability of colour combinations. The Handbook of color" (M., 1932).

Wrote of thematic paintings, landscapes, still lifes, portraits; worked a lot in watercolors. Author of painting works: "picking cotton" (1934), "Gatchina" (1939), "collective Farmers" (1941); series of watercolors "Altai" (1925), "Dagestan" (1958-1959).

was Engaged in book graphics; collaborated in publishing Uchpedgiz, Izogiz and others. Illustrated textbooks for the people of the North.

Worked in the color laboratory of the research Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture the Russian Academy of arts (1938-1941). Participated in the painting of facades of buildings of Leningrad. During the great Patriotic war he was evacuated to Leninsk-Кузнецке the Kemerovo region.

From 1930 — participant of exhibitions (Zorved, 1930, Leningrad). Exhibited: "Woman in socialist construction" (1934), women-художников of Leningrad (1941), painting and sculpture of the Leningrad city Committee of artists (1941), painting and sculpture by Leningrad artists (1949) in Leningrad; 1-й regional art exhibition "Kuzbass — front" in Kemerovo (1944) and others.

Personal exhibition (posthumous) was held in Saint-Петербурге (2004).

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — State Museum of history St.-Петербурга.
