Painter, graphic artist

Childhood was spent in the town of pitkäranta in the Republic of Karelia. Original art education in the icon workshop of Valaam monastery. He studied in St. Petersburg (?) I И. Е. Репина. He painted landscapes, still lifes; worked a lot in watercolors. A member and Exhibitor of the Association of artists (1916-1917), participated in 38-й the exhibition of the society of Russian watercolorists (1922) in Petrograd.

he Lived in St. Petersburg (Petrograd; 1897-1917); after the October revolution emigrated to Finland (pitkäranta), in the period Belotinska war (1939-1940) — refugee in 1944 поселился on lake Pielinen. About 1950 he moved to Italy.
