Mavrina — one of the greatest masters of the Soviet graphic art. In his work relied on the study of traditions of old Russian and folk art, Russian lubok prints. For easel work is characterized by attention to the picture "a la prima", made directly from nature with keeping the fast pace inherent in the documentary outline, modernity, reporterlast, rhythm.
