In the Mansion, opened the exhibition "Russian art society in Italy 20-50-ies". It presents works from private collections, returning us to a time when the Russians were to discover Italy and its culture, known to them only by the lessons of history, the collections of paintings and works of the Italian architects and decoration@
Many of the works created at this time in Italy, were brought to Russia, included in Museum or private collections. Among the authors of the works presented in this exhibition, there is a well-known Russian artists: Nikanor Chernetsov, Carl and Alexander Brullov, Sokrat Vorobyov, Pimen Orlov. But no less interesting portraits of Russian nobles, executed by foreign artists — for example, D. Bezzuoli or M. de Filippis Delfico@
Paintings, watercolors, drawings, prints, created in Italy in the first half of the nineteenth century, harmoniously fit into the classic interior of the main house, Muravyov-Apostol, introducing this vistavka@
