an Important part of the collection I. B. Zhvanetsky — archives and fragments of collections of poets, translators, graduates of the historical-филологического faculty of the Moscow University: E. Arkhipova, D. Usov, L. Gornung, A. am I saying.
And of course, the present historical-культурное value collection I. B. Not surprisingly, the appearance at auction of the collection of such level has become a real landmark event for Moscow second-hand bookshops. By 12 o'clock at the auction room of "Empire", as they say, the Apple was nowhere to fall: the start of drawing the first lot were looking forward to more than fifty members, of whom thirty people sat in the hall personally, and the other two dozen watched the opening ceremony and participated in the auction in real time via the Internet.
For more than three hours of an auction the hammer went from 265 360 (73,6 %) of the lots, totaling more than 22.5 million rubles, which is 253 % (!) of the average total estimate of all lots of the catalogue.
the First violin, of course, played edition with the author's dedicatory and commemorative inscriptions: these include 9 of the 10 most expensive lots of the auction, which brought nearly half (47 %, or 10,65 million) of the total proceeds of the auction.
the Only book without an autograph into a virtual top-10 at auction February 27, was one of five hundred copies of the book "the Magic lantern: a Second book of poems," M. I. Tsvetaeva 1912 (lot 159). The auction started with 60 000 absentee rate, and ended at a rate of 650 000, which was made by the party on the phone. A rare book in the course of trading rose in price by almost 11 times.
Such a successful auction when the final price exceeded the starting amount of ten times and above, that Saturday happened more than once. In particular, the book "Mile" by Marina Tsvetaeva 1921 (lot 158) from the start 30 000 rubles, against Internet and telephone, and all went to last for 480 000 — is 16 times the start! And here is a rare first collection of poems by A. P. Platonov's "Blue depth", published by the publishing house Krasnodar "Thunderbird" in 1922 (lot 189), got a new owner in the hall for 220 000 rubles, despite its modest estimate and starting price for an absentee rate of 30 000 roubles.
Constant high activity of the hall effect on the results of the auction: in the hall took 134 of 265 lots sold. Internet, fought a total of 134 for the lot, won 75 times. Absentee bidder were much less fortunate: the absentee rate appeared to be winning only 28 out of 122 attempts, the phone, by the way, won exactly the same number of — 28 times.
