Biographical details are scarce. Born in an educated family. He studied in Moscow at the sculpture faculty of the VKhUTEMAS (1921) А. М. Лавинского. In 1922 he decided to go in a more classic Studio of the sculptor А. Т. Матвеева in VHUTEINe (Petrograd — Leningrad, 1922-1925), adopted on 2-й course. Perhaps helped the sculptor М. Г. Манизеру in his workshop.

was married to the painter П. Н. Шуриге.

Went through a fascination with constructivism. He lived in Leningrad. Worked as an artist-оформитель, studied industrial design.

he died Suddenly from blood poisoning.
