In 1911-1925 as restorer and decorator, worked in St. Petersburg and Rybinsk. Studied in Vhuteine in Moscow (1925-1930) С. В. Герасимова, П. П. Кончаловского.

he Lived in Moscow. Worked in the field of theatre-декорационного art. He designed the performances: "the Rise" Ф. А. Ваграмова (1930, together with В. В. Кисимовым) in Maat; "Carmen" Ж. Бизе (1931), "Tosca" by G. Verdi. Puccini (1931) in the Sverdlovsk Opera and ballet theatre; "Rigoletto" by G. Verdi. Verdi (1934) at the State academic Bolshoi theatre. The head of the scenic workshops of the Bolshoi theatre (1930-е). The main artist of the pavilions of the agricultural exhibition "apiculture and Sericulture". Was engaged in easel painting and graphics; the author of genre compositions, landscapes, still lifes.

during the great Patriotic war participated in the work on the disguise of the Kremlin. He painted a series of wartime drawings.

From 1920 — participated in exhibitions. A member and Exhibitor AHRR — akhr (1928). Exhibited: "the End of the theatrical season of Moscow 1928/1929 года" (1929), "Moscow Theatres for 20 лет. 1917-1937" (1937), exhibition of paintings, drawings and works of artists of theatre and cinema of Moscow and Leningrad (1955) in Moscow. Member SSH (MOSH, 1942). Exhibition of works was held in Moscow (1983).

One of the organizers and a teacher of the art Studio in Rybinsk (1919-1922).

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — State Central theatre Museum. А. А. Бахрушина State literary Museum, Rybinsk state historical-архитектурный and art Museum-заповедник.
