he Studied at the Krasnodar art-педагогическом College (he graduated in 1925) and VHUTEIN in Leningrad (1925-1929): at the graphics Department at В. М. Конашевича, Д. И. Митрохина, П. А. Шиллинговского. In 1929 the diploma work — design of the book "Chaos" А. М. Ширванзаде and drawings for the satirical magazine "Hedgehog".

he Lived in Leningrad, during the siege, remained in the city. He worked in easel, book and applied graphics (boxes for chocolates, labels for industrial goods, cards); worked on the poster. Author of thematic compositions, landscapes. Completed easel lithograph "the grape harvest" (1934), "the Crimea. Sudak" (1938), "Alaverdi. Copper smelter", "theatre" (1967), "the Finland station" (1969); watercolors and drawings: "the return of the partisan" (1942), "the Girl-милиционер" (1943), "Nevsky by night" (1945), "Czechoslovakia" (1960 series).

Worked in the Lenizdat publishers, Izogiz, Muzgiz, the Arts. Issued books: "С. М. Киров" (1934, the album), "Leningrad and the Leningrad region for XX years of Soviet power" (1937, album), "Russian folk songs. Songbook" (1943, collection), "Cities-герои" (1943, collection), "My memories" Т. Ханум (1945), "Twice Leningrad" (1945), "Tell me about Sergei Kostrikov" А. Г. Голубевой (1950), "Russian songs" (1954 collection), and others.

Performed the posters: "Navy defending the sea borders of the USSR" (1930), "Join the OSVOD. Lining power of the Soviet Navy!", "Worker! The Bolshevik pace forward to mastering advanced technique!" (both — 1933), "way out West! For the liberation of Soviet land!" (1943), "the Defeat of fascist troops on the Soviet-германском front", "All for front, all for victory!" (both — 1944), "long live our Motherland — Union of Soviet Socialist Republics!" (1946), "XXX years of Soviet rule" (1947), "All on elections!" (1950).

From 1928 — participated in exhibitions. A member and Exhibitor akhr (1929), member LOSS (XLP — the Leningrad Union of artists). Participated in exhibitions of Leningrad artists (1935, 1943, 1944, 1947, 1948, 1952, 1953, 1956, 1958, 1970), autolithographs by Leningrad artists (1939), "Leningrad book illustrations" (1947), "Book and easel graphics of Leningrad artists" (1955), Leningrad exhibitions of book graphics (1959, 1961, 1962, 1965), "Leningrad" (1965) in Leningrad; works by Leningrad artists during the great Patriotic war (1942), All-Union art exhibitions (1943 — "Heroic front and rear"), travelling exhibition of Soviet artists (1950), a "40 лет of the Soviet armed forces" (1958), works by Leningrad artists of materials foreign travel (1962), Art exhibition by 25-летию of the defeat of the-фашистских troops near Moscow (1966), the Republican exhibition "Soviet Russia" (1970) in Moscow; "Poster during the great Patriotic war" in Vologda (1963).

he was Buried at the Bogoslovskoye cemetery in St. Petersburg.
