the Sculptor

the Daughter and pupil of the sculptor, rector of the Imperial Academy of arts В. А. Беклемишева. He studied at Petrograd State free art studios (1918-1921), workshop В. В. Лишева; the Academy of arts in Berlin (1922).

From 1926 lived in Paris, had a Studio in Montmartre. Served portraits, Cabinet sculpture (Nude figures), sculptures on religious themes (bronze, wood, plaster, stone). Created a series of works devoted to Russian ballet, — portraits А. П. Павловой, Т. М. Рябушинской, С. М. Лифаря, Н. В. Вырубовой; figurines "Coquetry" (the ballerina Д. В. Вадимова), "Invitation to dance" (artist А. И. Долинов), "Reflection" (artist Н. Орлов), "Sergei Lifar in the role of David." The author of sculptural portraits Ф. И. Шаляпина, П. Н. Врангеля, Ф. Ф. Юсупова, Н. Н. Евреинова (tombstone in the cemetery of Saint-Женевьев-де-Буа).

Created the illustrations for the book "Beauty (Legend of Georgia)" the publishing house of Carrington, Belle Colby (1932). By order of the Argentine colony in Paris completed the wooden sculpture of "Saint Teresa of Avila", which was established in Valladolid on the site of the destroyed during the war ancient statues. In 1958 he donated his works to the Fund Committee К. А. Коровину.

Exhibited in the salon des Tuileries; participated in group exhibitions: "From antiquity until our days" (1935), a contemporary of the portrait (1935), "Dance in the plastic art" (1937) in Paris; exhibitions of Russian art in Belgrade (1930) and Paris (1931, 1932). His personal exhibitions were held in Paris galleries J. Allard (1929), Sambon (1935), Béranger (1952); the Brook Street Art gallery in London (1935), P. Loujetzky in the Hague (1938).

Buried in the cemetery of Saint-Женевьев-де-Буа.

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — the Luxembourg Museum in Paris.
