From a family of hereditary art; the great-grandson of the sculptor С. С. Пименова grandson Н. С. Пименова the author of the statue "knuckles". Studied with Е. Е. Шрейдера in St. Petersburg, then — Academy Ф. Коларосси in Paris. Studied architecture.

From 1923 he lived in Paris. He painted portraits, landscapes, drawings of Nudes. In 1930-е gave Russian cultural-историческому Museum in Prague a number of drawings in pencil and sanguine.

Since the mid 1920-х worked as a cinema artist;, has issued about 50 фильмов.
