Biographical details are scarce. He studied at the Stroganov school; attended classes at the Studio printed (graduated in 1908). Studied with Н. Н. Соболева.

In 1910-е worked as a drawing teacher in Lubimova, Yuriev, Kineshma. In 1917 he moved to Moscow. After the October revolution emigrated: some time lived in Germany and Poland, then settled in Paris. Wrote watercolor landscapes in impressionistic style. In 1948 he completed the decoration of the charity ball at Sokol'skaya chetvergova school in Paris.

Exhibited in the salon Medotcom (1948). Buried in the cemetery of the Teese.
