curriculum vitae of Maria Alexandrovna Lagorio extremely scanty. We know that arts education she received at the Art Academy of Munich and Weimar. Some time was engaged in Petersburg EE Lancere, Nicholas Roerich, Ivan Bilibin. In 1915-1917 participated in the exhibitions "World of Art", which represented mainly their graphic work.

around 1920 with her husband, artist NI Istselenovym, emigrated to Berlin, where he entered the Council of the House of Arts. She has worked in the Russian publishing houses. In 1922 the publishing house "trireme" released an album of drawings. Created the illustrations for the book "Don Giovanni" E.-T.-A. Hoffman, "Portrait of Dorian Gray" O. Wilde and others. In 1923 a joint exhibition Lagorio and Istselenova and the Berlin office lithographic G. Thriller.

In the late 1920's settled in Paris. Exhibited their works in the salon Independent. Conducted a series of personal exhibitions in the gallery "Quatre Chemin". During the Second World War, worked as a restorer in Avignon. Included in society "Icon" in Paris.
