Biography
NETTLE Dmitri Pavlovich
Painter, graphic artist
he Studied in Art College in Odessa, then — at the Institute at К. С. Петрова-Водкина, А. И. Савинова.
he Lived in Leningrad. From 1927 — member of the group "masters of analytical art" П. Н. Филонова; participated in the exhibition Association in the printing-House (1927).
Wrote the song in the manner of П. Н. Филонова, Nudes, landscapes. Exhibitor 1-й citywide exhibition of fine arts (1930), 1-й exhibition of Leningrad artists (1935), autumn exhibition of Leningrad artists (1936) in Leningrad.
Posthumous exhibitions of the artist were held in Milan (1992, 1993) and Moscow (1993).
Work is represented in many Museum collections, including the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg and the Karakalpak state Museum of art. И. В. Савицкого in Nukus and other.
