he Studied at the State free art workshops — VKhUTEMAS in Moscow (1918-1925) И. И. Машкова and В. Н. Яковлева. In 1925 he defended his diploma painting "the Timing".

he Lived in Moscow. In 1920-х designed agitation trains, exhibitions, doing posters. In 1923-1932 he worked as a cinema artist; worked on the cartoons "do not count your Chickens before they are hatched" (1927), "Night alarm" (1928), "the adventures Bratishkin" (1929). He painted portraits, genre and thematic paintings, landscapes and still lifes. The author works: "Smith-орденоносец С. Фаустов at the hammer", "Car repair" (both — 1927), "Cadets" (1948), a series of watercolors "Dancing Balochi" (1936).

From 1925 — participant of exhibitions (the First traveling exhibition of paintings in Kazan). Member of the society of easel artists (1925, 1927). Exhibited: "the industry of socialism" (1939), Union of Moscow artists (1940) in Moscow.

he Taught at the Moscow art school (1940-1958). The author of the book "the Teaching pattern to secondary art school" (M., 1957).

Work is represented in several Museum and private collections.
