Lived in Moscow and Leningrad (1934). He worked as an assistant decorator at the film Studio in Moscow (1930-1933). He painted landscapes, portraits, thematic pictures.

participant of the great Patriotic war; painted a cycle of works dedicated to the war.

From 1935 — participated in exhibitions. Exhibited: "XX years of the red army and the Military-Морского Navy" (1938), all-Union art exhibition (1950) in Moscow, Republican exhibition of paintings, watercolors and drawings of Soviet artists (1939) in Kislovodsk, of works by Leningrad artists (1941, 1947, 1950, 1951, 1952), the Autumn exhibition of Leningrad artists (1958). Member of the Leningrad Union of artists (since 1946).
