he Studied at Kyiv Institute of plastic arts — Kiev art Institute (1923-1927) Н. Г. Бурачека, Л. Ю. Крамаренко, Ф. Г. Кричевского. In 1927 the diploma painting "Laundry".

Lived in Chernivtsi in Western Ukraine. He painted landscapes, still lifes, genre and thematic paintings. The author works: "the Unemployed in the West" (1932), "1 мая" (1937), "Twilight" (1945), "the New house" (1961), "Fusion is coming" (1962), "Spring water" (1963), a series of landscapes of Bukovina (1949-1957). In 1964 he was awarded the title of honored art worker of the Ukrainian SSR.

From 1921 — participant of the exhibition (the Autumn exhibition of the Ukrainian Academy of arts in Kiev). Member of the Association of artists of Ukraine Chervonnaya (1926-1927) and the Association of revolutionary art of Ukraine (ARMU; 1928). Exhibited at the all-Ukrainian jubilee exhibition (1927, mobile: Kharkov, Kiev, Odessa and other cities), exhibition of Association of contemporary artists of Ukraine (OSMA, 1928) in the village of Kamensky Zaporozhye oblast, Ukrainian art exhibitions (1935, 1946, 1948 — 1950) in Kyiv and other.

he Taught at the Kiev art school (1938-1941).

Work is represented in several Museum collections, including in the Kharkiv art Museum.
