he Graduated from art-промышленную school in Mirgorod. Studied at the Kiev art Institute (1923-1930) М. Л. Бойчука.

he Lived in Kiev; in the summer months, regularly traveled to the sketches in Feodosia. In 1935 he was arrested as a follower of the "reactionary school of boychukisty". From 1939 he lived in Kuibyshev, after the end of world war II — in Kiev.

Under the guidance М. Л. Бойчука participated in the decoration of the main hall of the sanatorium in Odessa. In 1926 participated in the design of the all-Ukrainian Museum town on the territory of the Kiev-Печерской laurels. He painted portraits, landscapes, still lifes and thematic paintings. Author of painting works: "On the boat at the boiler", "Sawyers", "Harmonica", "Soldier of the horse", "Old Kiev", "Dnipro fishermen", "Surf", "Rigas Jurmala" and others.

From 1917 — participated in exhibitions. Member of Association of revolutionary art of Ukraine (ARMU; 1929-1932). Exhibited at 2-й (1929) and 3-й (1930) of the all-Ukrainian art exhibitions in Odessa, Kharkov, Kiev and other cities, the exhibition "Art of Soviet Ukraine" (1930) in Kharkiv, the exhibition of works of artists of Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Armenia (1931, 1932), all-Union exhibitions of works by artists-маринистов of the USSR (1955, 1961) in Moscow, exhibition of Soviet art in Japan (1932), regional art exhibitions of the Kiev Association of artists (1953, 1959) in Kyiv and other. Held a personal exhibition in Kiev (1959).

he Taught at the Kiev art school (1920– 1931).
