Painter, graphic artist, artist of the theatre

he Studied at the Uzhgorod College of applied arts (1948-1955) at the painting Department at А. М. Эрдели, Ф. Ф. Манайло, И. И. Бокшая. In 1955 выполнил diploma painting "Reunion".

Lived in Khust of Transcarpathian region. Author of landscapes, portraits, themed paintings: "Winter" (1956-1957), "Spring" (1957), "the Partisans" (1967), "Old Justo" (1959), "Karpaty" (1961), "the Girl from mezhgorya" (1963), "Last snow" (1965), "March in the mountains" (1966), "memories of the past" (1968, tempera).

Designed productions of Khust district people's theatre (1958-1963): "Wedding in Malinovka" Б. А. Александрова, "Sunday morning potion collected" В. С. Василько "the Pharaohs" А. Ф. Коломийца, rainbow Н. Я. Зарудного.

Participated in the execution of paintings and mosaics for interior of cafe "the Flame" (1965), tea "Hutsulka" (1965-1966), the restaurant "the Brook" (1966) in Khust.

From 1956 — participated in exhibitions. A member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Exhibited at the exhibitions: national exhibitions of works of artists of the USSR (1957, 1959–dedicated to the 40-летию the young Communist League, 1970 — on the 50-летию VLKSM), the Republican exhibition of young artists of Ukraine (1966) in Kiev; Regional exhibition of works by artists of Transcarpathia (1958, 1959, 1960, 1965 — on the 20-летию the reunification of Transcarpathian Ukraine with Soviet Ukraine, 1967 — on the 50-летию of the Great October revolution) and others. His personal exhibitions were held in Uzhgorod (1959, 1981, 1992, 1997, 2000, 2001), Trebišov (Czechoslovakia, 1990), Mukachevo (1996).

he Taught at Hust cultural-просветительском College (1955-1959). Honored artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1990), people's artist of Ukraine (since 2003). Winner of the National prize of Ukraine. Т. Г. Шевченко (1994).

the Memorial had a personal exhibition in Uzhgorod (2013).

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — Transcarpathian regional art Museum named after. Joseph bokshay Uzhgorod, Khust Museum of local lore.
