From the family lawyer. Studied in Vhuteine — Moscow textile Institute (1928-1932) in the art Department at С. В. Герасимова and П. П. Пашкова; in 1932 he completed graduate work — pattern for silk fabric. In 1953 attended the workshop А. В. Фонвизина.

Executed drawings (mainly for hand-painted) dress and decorative fabrics: lilac (1939), "Daisies" (1953), "the Big cage" (1956), "Russkaya" (1957), "Summer" (1959), "Striped" (1960), "Riders" (1961), "Moscow" (1964), "Walk", "Splint" (both — 1968); silk scarves: "picking cotton" (1931), "800 лет Moscow (1947), "Cucumber" (1953).

Since the late 1960-х worked a lot for the interiors of public buildings; is the author of tapestry: "Helicopter" (1964), "For Soviet power" (1967), "Girl-оленевод" (1972); mural "Holiday" (1968); curtains "Red horse" (1973, cafes, Sterlitamak), "Geometric" (1974, the Palace of culture works "Rostselmash", Rostov-на-Дону). Together with В. Д. Лотониной completed a set of decorative fabrics for home recreation (1961) И. К. Кулаковой — for a country of (1964), with Н. Ф. Ельцовой — curtains for dance halls of the Palaces of culture in Sterlitamak and Ufa (1972).

For sets of fabrics for the building of the Union of artists of the USSR (1968; together with И. К. Кулаковой) and the House of culture of the Krasnoyarsk aluminum plant (1971) was noted by diplomas MOHF of the RSFSR, for the tapestry of "Soviet porcelain" (1970) — diploma of the Moscow Union of artists of the RSFSR (1971).

In 1950-60-х under the influence А. В. Фонвизина he wrote easel watercolor still lifes.

From 1931 — participant of exhibitions (exhibition of young artists in Moscow).
