Sculptor, printmaker, medalist

he received his General education in Russia.

About 1914 arrived in Paris; studied at the National school of fine arts at Ж.-А. Энжалбера and П. Ландовского. Participant of the First world war in the French army. In 1920 he received French citizenship.

Worked mainly in the field of easel (Desk) sculptures; was engaged in engraving, medallic art. Created from bronze (sometimes marble) portrait statues, figures of naked, animalistic sculpture, compositions on mythological and allegorical subjects, genre sculpture. Rented the Studio on the street of the Bins, 5 in which previously worked О. Роден.

Exhibited in the salons of Independent (1920-1960, with interruptions), Autumn (1924), the Society of French artists. Participated in many group exhibitions in Paris, Lille, Lyon, nice, Bordeaux. Showed work at the exhibition of Russian art in London gallery "Whitechapel" (1921). His personal exhibitions were held in the Paris gallery "Journal" (1933, 1934), in his own Studio (1964). In 1965 he presented his medallic works at the exhibition in Paris medal of the yard.

Works are in several Museum collections, among them — Museum of modern art city of Paris.
