Rabinovich Isaak Moiseevich

born in the family of the artist-craftsman. The first skill in drawing, apparently, was under the leadership of his father. In 1906-1915 he studied at the Kiev Art School and a private studio AA Murashko. Since 1911, he worked continuously as a theatrical designer. He created sketches of scenery and costumes for the play "Wedding" on a story by Anton Chekhov in the Third Moscow Art Theater School. In 1923 he designed the staging of "Lysistrata" by Aristophanes in the Music Studio Art Theater. In the same year as the assistant Exter worked on the design VSHV in Moscow. Rabinowitz - one of the leading representatives of the Ukrainian avant-garde of the first third of the twentieth century, a distinguished theater artist.
