he Lived in Leningrad. In 1932-1934 worked as an artist Polipropylene, where he studied the poster. He painted mainly landscapes; completed the series "Landscapes of Armenia" (1934-1936, 1960-е, 1973), "Gurzuf" (1949, 1954); the work: "On the Neva" (1952), "In the suburbs of Leningrad", "Urban landscape (both — 1956), "gray day in the Bay" (1961), "Winter on the Shore" (1964), "collective current", "Armenia" (both — 1964)"Old Tbilisi" (1968), "Armenia. Ashtarak" (1969), "Midday in Ashtarak" (1970), "gamma Blue" (1973), "birch alley" (1975). Has also created a series of thematic pictures ("the Threshing", 1936), portraits (academician М. Г. Хлопина, 1950; "Worker of the printing house", 1960; sculptor А. А. Стрекавина, 1971; agronomist П. И. Никитина, 1973), still life ("Bread", "Kuban", both — 1967; "Vegetables", 1970; "Fruit on a white tablecloth", 1973). In collaboration with other artists worked on the paintings "Battle for the island Dry", (1947), "Ladoga. 1942 год" (1947 — 1958).

From 1934 — participated in exhibitions. Member of akhr (1929-1932), XLP (1951). Exhibited: "Painting, drawing, sculpture" (1967), works by Leningrad artists (1941, 1952, 1953, 1958, 1960, 1961, 1963), the Spring exhibitions of works by Leningrad artists (1954, 1965, 1970, 1971, 1972), Autumn exhibitions of Leningrad artists (1956, 1958, 1968, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973), "Leningrad" (1964), "Our contemporary" (1972), "still life" (1973) in Leningrad, works by artists-маринистов of the RSFSR in Kaliningrad (1961) and others. His personal exhibitions were held in Leningrad (1974, 1983).

Work is represented in several Museum collections, including the Museum of the history of St-Петербурга.
