he Studied at Penza art school (graduated in 1905), the Higher art school of painting, sculpture and architecture under the Imperial Academy of arts (1905-1906) in the Studio И. Е. Репина.

he Lived in Warsaw (prior to 1914), then — in Kiev. Traveled extensively in Europe; visited Germany, Italy, England and other countries. Worked as a portraitist, landscape painter; in 1900-10-х created symbolic-аллегорические composition. Author paintings: "Eva", "Japanese melody" (both — 1907), "the Park in the Łazienki" (1913), "the Faun and the young man" (1916), "Fizkulturnaya" (1941), "Harvest" (1947). In 1919, he participated in festive decoration of Kiev to 1 Мая. Performed the placards were engaged in illustrating books.

From 1912 — participated in exhibitions. Exhibited at the exhibitions of the Association of independent (1912, 1914) in St. Petersburg — Petrograd, 3-й spring exhibition of paintings and sculpture (1915), 8-й exhibition of paintings Kiev artists (1916), 1-й all-Ukrainian exhibition of artists Chervonnaya Ukraine (QUARTERMASTER; 1927), 9-й Ukrainian art exhibition (1948) in Kyiv, the anniversary exhibition of works of artists of the Ukrainian SSR in Kharkov (1938).

he Taught at the Warsaw art school (1906-1914), higher educational establishments of Kyiv (1924-1949).

Work is represented in several Museum collections, including the National Museum in Warsaw.
