Studied 1-м Siberian cadet corps in Omsk (1918-1919), where he taught painting and drawing by his father — artist А. Н. Клементьев; he attended the private Studio of his father. Participated in exhibitions of the society of artists and Amateurs of fine arts of the Steppe Krai (1917, 1918).

In 1922 he emigrated, settled in France. He studied at the Academy of cubist А. Лота in Paris. He painted portraits, still lifes, symbolic-аллегорические and non-figurative compositions. From 1926 he exhibited at the salon of independents, Autumn. In 1934-1935 he executed paintings in the Church of St. Jean D'arc in nice, which has combined traits of cubism with the traditions of Orthodox iconography.
