Engraver, draftsman

was a soldier of Leib-гвардии Semenov regiment. He studied engraving at А. А. Осипова; worked in the techniques of copperplate engraving and the dotted line.

he Lived in Moscow. Served portraits, views, engravings on historical, mythological, biblical scenes, book illustrations. Worked as their own drawings, scenic drawings, originals and other artists (Ф. С. Рокотов, Я. И. Аргунов, А. Логинов). Many were engraved on the orders П. П. Бекетова and Н. Н. Бантыш-Каменского. Completed thirty circuit boards intended for the publication of the description of the gallery М. П. Голицына and six for edition a beautiful collection of Prince М. А. Оболенского.

have Repeatedly presented their work, copies of engravings И.-М. Шмутцера the picturesque originals П. П. Рубенса ("Ambrose stops Theodosius the Emperor", "Mucjusz burns your hand"), the Council of the Imperial Academy of arts to be awarded the title neklassnogo (free) artist, but the title is not rewarded.

M., 1812), Г. Ф. Долгорукого ("Collection of portraits of Russians, famous for their actions...". M., 1821), Simeon, the Archbishop of Yaroslavl ("the Words and speech of Archbishop Simeon". M., 1827), Irenaeus Klementevich ("Portraits of the eminent men of the Russian Church." M., 1843). The author of portraits: П. С. Валуева, Alexander I, А. Б. Бутурлина, Catherine II, И. Ф. Богдановича, П. Г. Демидова, И. П. and П. И. Кожевниковых, А. А. Мусина-Пушкина and other; compositions: "So exalts the courage of heroes," "king's well" (the paintings Ш. Лебрена; in the book "Description of the military actions of Alexander the Great, king of Macedonia", M., 1818), "Moscow under Tsar Mikhail", "the Reception of the ambassadors of Holstein" (in the album "the Memorability of Moscow", Moscow, 1844), "View of the Great parade in red square", "view of Holy-Николаевского Rogovicnogo... monastery...", "House of Demidov in Nizhny Tagil", "Fruit and game".
