Painter, graphic artist

from Old Believer families. He studied at the IAH (1851-1862) as volnoprihodyaschego student in the class of landscape painting in MN and SM Sparrow. In 1856, for "Type in the Pskov province" was awarded a small silver medal in 1858 for the landscape - a large silver medal. Three times (1859, 1860, 1861) participated in the competition for the small gold medal with the picture "view in the vicinity of Oranienbaum", "Kyshtymskiy plant Rastorgueva" (both - 1859) and others, but to no avail. In 1862 he received the title of class artist "by painting the landscape" and the right to the rank of Class XIV.

lived in St. Petersburg (?), since the early 1890's - in Saratov. He painted landscapes, worked in the field of religious painting, was engaged in restoration. I created the painting ceilings, iconostasis, icons in the churches of St. Petersburg, Novgorod, Perm province. Exhibited his works at exhibitions in the halls of IAH (since 1867).
