Painter, graphic artist
In 1922 he moved to Petrograd, he studied in the Higher Art - Vhuteine (1922-1926/1927). He painted landscapes, still lifes, portraits. In 1920 participated in archaeological expeditions of the Institute of Marr.
Member (since 1925) and exponential (1927) group "Masters of Analytical Art" P. Filonov. It seems that belonged to friends of the students Filonova since questioned the NKVD during the persecution of the artist. In 1930, the splinter out of the association. Participated in the exhibition "Contemporary Art in Leningrad group" (1928-1929), 1 st Public Exhibition of Fine Arts (1930) in Leningrad.
Since 1930, he led a brigade of decoration History Museum of Leningrad, which also includes students Filonova VA Sulimo-Samuyllo and EA Tenisman.
