he Studied at the Academy of fine arts in Florence (1895-1898). In 1900-1910-х draw to Tiflis Newspapers and magazines: "Tsnobis purtseli", "Kvali" and others. He performed the illustrations to 1-му that "Works" И. Чавчавадзе (Tiflis, 1914). Participated in the competition for the new building of Noble Bank and design of its interiors (1914, 1-я prize). The author of the painting "the storming of the village of Vedeno" (1906) and the cycle of watercolors "architecture of Ancient Georgia" (1912-1918). Designed productions of the Tiflis Opera theatre.

Participated in the exhibition of drawings and watercolors dedicated to the outstanding monument of Georgian architecture — Mtskheta Jvari (1925, Tbilisi).

he Taught at the Tiflis art school (1918-1921), Tbilisi Academy of arts (1922-1937), Professor (1922). The author of the book "Practical manual of linear perspective" (Tbilisi, 1934).
