In 1915 was in Turkey; remained there during the revolution and Civil war. In 1920 he moved to the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. Wrote seascapes (near Gruž, Dubrovnik, komiža island), types of old fishing villages on the Adriatic coast, rarely — portraits and still lifes. In the works was influenced by А. В. Ганзена.

his personal exhibitions were Held in split (1922, 1927, 1930, 1937), Sarajevo (1930), Belgrade (1934, 1936), Ljubljana (1935, 1940), Zagreb (1935, 1939). Participated in group exhibitions, including the exhibition of Russian art in Belgrade (1930).

In 1944-1951 lived in Austria, then moved to Belgium.
