In 1911-1918 she studied at the gymnasium in St. Petersburg (Petrograd). Art education has received in 1923-1928 in the State-industrial technical school, where he studied with MP Monakhov, AA Rylov, P. A. Mansurov, and Ginhuke Petrograd in PA Mansurova.

In 1928 she married the artist D. E. Zagoskina, in 1933, a son Nicholas.

In 1928 joined the creative association "Circle of Artists, one of the founders of which was Zagoskin. Attended the III exhibition of paintings and sculptures of association in the State Russian Museum, as well as in the exhibition "Circle" in the Kiev Art Gallery. In 1929-1931 made a creative business in Vitebsk, Mogilev, Poltava region, there's plenty of running gouaches and watercolors with nature.

In 1932-1935 continued her education in graduate school All-Russia Academy of Arts KF Juon and AI Savinov. Many worked in the field of easel painting.

In 1938-1959 - married to the artist EA Kibrik in 1939 was born the second son, Nicholas. From 1938 worked in an experimental lithographic workshop LOSHa, in 1940 created his most famous work in the field of lithography - Katyusha ».

At the beginning of the Great Patriotic War evacuated in the Yaroslavl region, then moved to Siberia, and from there to Central Asia and Udmurtia. At the end of 1934 moved to Moscow. In 1947 held the first exhibition of Tymoshenko in the halls MOSSH, then LOSSH.

In 1951-1959 and 1960-1967 cycles are created illustrations for the novel "Eugene Onegin" by Alexander Pushkin. In 1961 was the second solo exhibition in the halls MOSSH, which brought the artist to "broad" fame.
