he Studied at the Kharkov art College (1936-1939) С. Ф. Беседина; Kiev art Institute (1939-1950, with a break) В. Н. Костецкого, Т. Н. Яблонской, А. А. Шовкуненко. In 1950 he completed graduate work — picture of the "Tractor". The participant of the great Patriotic war (1941-1945).

he Lived in Kiev. Executed landscapes, thematic paintings, portraits, still lifes. The author of the series of landscapes: "Steppes of Ukraine" (1949), painting works: "the collective farm substation" (1949), "Haystacks", "Native land" (1957), "Mother-земля" (1959-1960), "the Victors" (1963), "the sacred truth-волю" (1964), "At the dawn of collectivization" (1969). Has created a panel (sgraffito): "Verkhovyna-мать" (1962), "Science and labor" (1962-1963), a series of decorative ceramic panels.

a member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Since 1949 — participated in exhibitions: the fine arts of the USSR (Republican; 1949, 1951, 1953, 1957, 1961), "Soviet Ukraine" (1960), Kiev Association of artists (Regional; 1955, 1959), Art exhibitions devoted to the 100-летию from the date of death Т. Г. Шевченко (1961) in Kiev; all-Union art exhibitions (1957, 1961), all-Union exhibition of works of artists-маринистов (1961) in Moscow. His personal exhibitions were held in Kiev (1980), Krasnoyarsk (1981).

Honoured artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1978).

Work is represented in many Museum collections, among them — national Museum. А. Шептицкого in Lviv, the Art Museum of Dnipropetrovsk and others.
