In 1916 sketches for the "basket" and "a bottle", as well as drawings from life received the title of artist. The thesis did not fulfill.

he Lived in Kazan and St. Petersburg. He worked primarily as a portraitist. Completed portraits Ф. И. Шаляпина in the role of Boris Godunov in the eponymous Opera М. П. Мусоргского (1916) and don Quixote in the Opera Ж. Массне (1916). The author of the coat of arms of the Siberian provisional government.

C 1913 — participated in exhibitions. He exhibited work at the Spring exhibition of the Imperial Academy of arts in Petrograd (1916), exhibition of paintings of Petrograd artists (1917), exhibition of paintings by local artists (1914), 6-й periodic exhibition of paintings (1916), 1-й state exhibition of art and science in Kazan (1920) and others.

Works are in several Museum collections, including the State Historical Museum, the State Central theater Museum im. А. А. Бахрушина, Krasnoyarsk art Museum named after. В. И. Сурикова and others.
