he Studied at the architectural school, but from-за the First world war interrupted these studies. In 1916 he graduated from the school of ensigns of the fleet. In the Civil war — officer of the black sea fleet, second Lieutenant (1918). In 1921 within the Russian squadron was evacuated to Bizerta (Tunisia).

In 1922 he settled in Paris. He studied at the Russian Academy Т. Л. Сухотиной-Толстой. Created designs for fabrics for the firms П. Пуаре and К. Диора. In 1930-е together with artists Л. А. Успенским, Г. И. Кругом, В. Будановой worked in the Studio of Bel Vita, created by his brother Victor. She studied painting shawls and scarves.

was Engaged in easel painting and graphics. He painted portraits, landscapes, still lifes, Nudes. Donated paintings for charity lotteries Association and Moscow in favor of Russian students (1936, 1938), repair of an Orthodox Cathedral of St. Alexander Nevsky in Paris (1958). Created costumes and scenery for the Opera "Eugene Onegin" П. И. Чайковского in concert (1955).

Exhibited in the salon des indépendants (from 1952), the salon of Free art. Participated in exhibitions organized by the Union of Soviet patriots (1945 — "In honor of the Victory", 1946). Had a solo exhibition at the gallery Michel (1947).

he was Buried in the cemetery at sèvres, near Paris.
