Biographical details are scarce. In all likelihood, the special artistic education is not received (according to some reports — attended the Moscow school of painting; among the regular students are not listed). He lived in Moscow.

Performed predominantly works animalistic nature, hunting scenes. Author of painting works: "swimming horses", "Hunting with hounds", "hunting", "Hunting bears", "the watering hole", "three", "Wolves," "Hunting the Fox with dogs", "Russian Troika" (all — 1900-е).

the Work was published in magazines "Niva", "spark", "homeland", were reproduced on postcards. Performed image of horses on the orders of the stud farms (mainly the photos). Member of the art circle "Environment".

Exhibited at the Autumn exhibitions of paintings (1906-1909), paintings by Moscow fans-коллекционеров (1910) in St. Petersburg, 1-й Nizhny Novgorod art exhibition of paintings and Antiques (1907).
