In 1853-1868 worked on contract for the Imperial porcelain factory from 1855 — and also at the Peterhof lapidary factory. He was the first painter of "flowers and cupids", created drawings for tea and coffee sets, produced sketches for ornamental, figure, landscape, floral paintings. Oversaw the execution of projects in the workshops of the plant. Worked on the woodcut.

In 1859-1868 преподавал in the class of painting at the porcelain factory. Honorary free associate of the Academy of the Imperial Academy of arts (from 1859).

the Exhibitor of the Paris Salon (from 1845), exhibitions of the Imperial Academy of arts (1860-е), world exhibitions in Vienna (1873). At the world exhibition in London (1862) was shown Romanovsky set with portraits of Russian tsars and chambers of the Romanov boyars in Moscow, designed by Vivana BOS.

Works are in several Museum collections, including at the State Hermitage Museum (Museum of the Imperial porcelain factory).
