Initial education in the orphanage with an artistic bias in Moscow, where he taught Н. П. Ульянов, А. А. Кибардина, Е. В. Поленова. The participant of the great Patriotic war.

From 1931 — participant of exhibitions (exhibition of young artists in Moscow). Exhibited: "the Alley of drummers in Central Park" (1931), exhibition of young artists in Moscow (1934), 5-я exhibition of Moscow artists (1937), all-Union exhibition of young artists dedicated to the 20-летию the Komsomol (1939), 7-я exhibition of Moscow Union of artists (1940), exhibition of young artists of the RSFSR (1941), all-Union art exhibition (1950), the Spring exhibitions of Moscow artists (1952, 1953), "Physical culture and sport in fine art" (1962) in Moscow and others. Member of mosskh (SSH, MOSH; 1933).

Work is represented in many Museum collections, among them — of the State Tretyakov gallery, regional art gallery of Vologda, Sochi, Perm, Kemerovo.
