The Niece В. И. Вернадского. In the early 1920-х studied at children's art school of drawing Т. Л. Сухотиной-Толстой in Moscow, later — in the School of fine arts in Sofia (1926-1931).

In 1932-1947 lived in Brussels, then — in Paris and nice. Was engaged in easel and applied graphics — book illustration, advertising design. Worked in the techniques of etching on copper and zinc, lithography, linocut, collage. Was close to a group of artists so-called "nice school".

Under the influence of her husband, the Belgian artist Guillaume Oryx in the early 1950-х became interested in abstraction. Created compositions built on bright, sometimes spontaneous combinations of colors. For recent works (1970-е) is characterized by the appearance of mythological images of witches, ghosts, demons.

From 1951 was exhibited in the salon of New realities in Paris. Held several solo exhibitions in Paris, Brussels, Antwerp, nice, Cannes and other cities. Retrospective exhibition of works took place in Saint-Петербурге (2001).
