From a noble family; was in relationship with the poetess З. Н. Гиппиус sister of the artist Н. А. Гиппиус (1905-1994).

he Studied at Perm art-педагогическом College (1924-1927) at the graphics Department at И. Н. Вроченского and А. С. Шестакова; at the Moscow Vhuteine (1928-1930) from the painting Department of the А. А. Осмеркина, Н. А. Удальцовой, К. Н. Истомина, Р. Р. Фалька in the Institute of proletarian fine art in Leningrad (1930-1932) in the Studio of monumental painting at К. С. Петрова-Водкина. In 1932 выполнила thesis — painting the walls in the rest House of village Martyshkino Leningrad region.

Performed genre scenes, landscapes, portraits. In 1932, together with her husband, В. И. Бродским, the Leningrad Institute of painting, architecture and sculpture was sent to Karakalpakstan; has created a series of paintings ("New Sabbath. The wired-radio", "Arba").

In 1936 he returned to Leningrad. Worked as an artist in the city FROM Leningrad. Member LOSS (published in the late 1940-х). Collaborated with В. И. Бродским the exhibition "Construction, life and the nature of Karakalpakstan" in Moscow (1935).

Since the late 1940-х creativity was not engaged.

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — Karakalpak state Museum of art. И. В. Савицкого.
