he Studied at the Art school А. Х. Новаковского in Lviv, the Academy Р. Жюльена in Paris. Attended the faculty of arts, the National Conservatory in Paris (1928-1930). In 1930 he returned to Lviv. Worked as an assistant А. Х. Новаковского. In the postwar years was in Germany, where he received refugee status. In 1949 he moved to new-Йорк. Held several solo exhibitions in the U.S. and Canada.
