Sadovnikov - one of the largest Russian watercolourists first half of the XIX century. His creative output is extremely large and has over a thousand pages in them the artist with the topographic accuracy, however, with poetry depicted the life of the streets and squares of Saint-Petersburg, exterior and interior views of the surrounding palaces and mansions.
